Base coats - Peely Base with moat, Sticky Base.
Pink hand - Nip in the bud under Pink himalayan salt / Blushed ice on accent.
Olive hand - Not Impressed under Herb your enthusiasm / Sparkly Sh*t on accent.

Probably a dumb question, but -
Is there any benefit from using a dehydrator & primer before applying a regular base coat and lacquer?
Google said no but i want opinions from actual people who have experience with what they actually put on their nails.

Edit: General consensus seems to be unnecessary, good to know. Ive painted my nails for years but heard someone say they do this and I had no idea you could use primers with anything but acrylics or gel lol Thanks for the help ❤️
On my nail journey the one things I've struggled with is longevity, so I finally decided to test out the base that works best for me.
The actual colours I used are;
2 coats Shady Navy
1 thick coat Water Works
Topped with;
Glossy Taco
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat (definitely gives it an extra spark imo)
I used to have my nail polish cluttering my bedroom and desk, now it's all out on display and looking absolutely amazing 🥹 Im so excited to do my nails here from now on 😁
Cremes need a shelf of their own so they're just vibing in a cutlery divider lol 😅
So obviously Cold Shoulder has died, my cold blue heart really misses it and while I like the faded grey-blue its become I do wish for the OG. So, was wondering if anyone's got a HT combo that brings us close to Cold Shoulder?
Currently the closest I can think of and am going to test out would be a jelly sandwich using Sky High and Gift Receipt or Silver Flake Taco.

This is my absolute first ever attempt at gel-x nails, I'm aware of the uneven application and the cuticle flooding, but what is yall's opinion?
Also if youve got any tricks for even application I'd greatly appreciate any help.

I NEVER used to be a golden girlie, but recently I've been obsessed with deep blues / violets paired with golds so this new collection came at the perfect time. Not even an hour after purchase I broke my thumb nail. I guess the universe needed to balance out lol.

Base coats; Long lasting base coat, Sticky base
Purple hand; Work bestie covered with - Dont be jelly, Flash drive
Blue hand; DavidsTeal covered with - Wade a minute, Lite link
Toppers; Silver flake taco, Flakie holo taco
Top coats; Glossy Taco, Gel top coat
So I caved recently after I smudged my air-dry polish again after almost 2 hours of dry time 😭
I bought a no-wipe gel top coat and a mini uv lamp and was wondering how soon after finishing an air-dry mani can I apply a gel top coat?
