MudPlay V3.3.1

MudPlay V3.3.1

Hey everyone, just wanted to share something I've been making over the last 5 months. I have made, what I consider a Megamud and MMUD Explorer replacement and then some.

There is a lot more to it, but i made it in familiar fashion as to megamud's UI, so it shouldn't feel completely unfamiliar. It does require you to have an MDB for the board you're playing on to run its automation, I'll include a link below that has the newer NMR 1.11p export and the newest paradigm MDB export.

It is cross platform, so it has its own packages for Windows, Linux and Mac which are published on the repo. you basically copy what is in the tar/zip files, into where you want the program at (So like C:\ or /home/(user)/Applications/ you pick) it will then generate the programs working directory depending on what OS you're running on, in its proper spot.

You import the MDB via the client, set up a BBS, save profile as, and you're good to go. There are a lot of settings and features, which honestly, is too much for me to list out here but I've open sourced the client, It still has some areas that need improvement, I've got tabs on those on issues in the repo.

Any issues that come up, you can contact me here or on the repo via discussions.

New Majormud Engine / Realm Test

New Realm up at: mud.cwgaming.com 2323

This is on a brand new engine without worldgroup. Plan is to have a Beta test and then opensource the engine once the stock version is fully looking and feeling like OG Majormud, it is already very very close; a lot of work has gone into it to make it exactly like stock 1.11p.

There is also a Web UI attached to the realm so you can use realm gossip from the Web, see who is online, check your characters stats, browse game data, quests, etc. You login using your BBS account.

Resetting today to Beta test after Alpha. And then will reset once cleared.

LF Information on Soft Skill / Hard Skill Synergies

Does anyone know of a definitive list of skills that fall under requires hard vs soft skill points??

I know that the passive effects of paladin aura's only apply with hard skill points and almost all other skills only apply synergy bonuses with hard skill points.

However I also know that Summoner skills for druid and necro benefit from soft skill points. I'm just looking to make sure I have a correct list because I'm putting together a program that uses this information and want it to be right.

EDIT: I also know that Assassin's Shadow Warrior/Master abilities they use, are based off their soft skill point level, I -think- i have all the right ones noted down but am not 100%.
