So i ran numbers that contribute to short squeezes on stock, thinking the wéird shit pops up, to my suprise the top 5 looked like this. Not saying its a teal squeez , ut most shorted versus their total and such. Does anyone recognise the stocks and why they so highly shorted?

The shot holds the selection of stock in the comming weeks that have 4 or more % dividend pay out. Stock tend to drop roughly that percentage also on that date, so its no given you profit. But often in the weeks aftehr that drop is filled back in. So are you a dividend hunter, or not, and which onces? I only listed the 4 procents , else the list would be to long.

I started 5 years ago buying the hypes. Often to late. Learned and went from buying peaks to buying dips on selected stocks i would not mind holding for longer time frames and ride it out. That gives more peace of mind atm. Watch for the drops on my favourite stocks, ride up, sell and wait for next drop. Its not fully day trading but oppertunistic. Last week i made a site for it, curious if it can help others, can set alerts on dips, scanner and more. Any feedback would be so helpfull. Its all free and no sales of anything, i dont mind sharing . I went up from 100k to 320k in last 5 year, most on oil, banks and tech. Especialy now with taco tuesdays even the solid stocks swing. So check it out, feedback would be insane, and hopefully it helps you. Www.tradeturtle.net and yes the turle goed steady and wins from the rabbit. And there is nothing to buy or sell or pay so i hope it helps and doesnt conflict with community rules

  1. RKLB — Rocket Lab 🚀

Reddit’s #1 pick. Stock up 360% in 2024, +174% in 2025. $1.1B backlog, $977M cash, 95% YoY launch revenue growth. Neutron rocket upcoming as major catalyst. Risk: not yet profitable, high valuation.

  1. ASTS — AST SpaceMobile 🛰️

WallStreetBets conviction play. Building satellite broadband direct to your phone — no cell towers needed. $70.9M revenue in 2025, guiding $150–200M for 2026, $1.2B in contracted commitments. Risk: recent satellite failure, SpaceX/Amazon competition heating up.

  1. IONQ — IonQ ⚛️

Top pure-play quantum computing stock. Revenue grew from $2M (2021) to $130M (2025). Analysts expect 67% CAGR through 2028 ($600M target). Holds world record for quantum accuracy (99.99% fidelity). Risk: unprofitable, ~23% of float shorted, highly speculative.

  1. LUNR — Intuitive Machines 🌕

NASA-contracted lunar lander company. Part of Reddit’s space economy basket (alongside RKLB, ASTS, PL) seen as a trillion-dollar industry in the making. Government contracts provide a backstop. Risk: tiny company, high execution risk, NASA-dependent.

  1. NBIS / AI Infrastructure 🤖

The “picks and shovels” play on AI. Companies supplying power and physical infrastructure as AI energy demand explodes. Also watch: IREN, APLD. Risk: sector still early, profitability timelines uncertain.
