I found this on a 3 year old, but locked thread. Core questions marked bold, the rest is drivel 😜

Is is known for how long BM are planning to support Win10? I do not plan on "upgrading" 3 perfectly fine workstations for reasons widely known, period, but Adobe seem to be moving towards forcing slop OS on users. I have no clue why Win11 could become necessary, maybe some interwoven dependencies regarding hardware drivers.

I have read Resolve runs very well on Linux Mint, though Google slop claims it only runs well on Rocky. Since I have already wasted many months on stuff NOT working on Linux, and I can't find anything on the BM pages I'm wary about stepping into that one again. What is really working and what will definitely remain maintained?

Which components of LR Classic can I effectively use so I don't get AI flagged in content credentials? Or better: which components trigger said AI flags? What in LRC is using AI and what's not?

The legal situation in the EU seems rather murky to me, so I'd rather circumvent the issue entirely.

I've done well for decades without AI, so I'd rather work without AI instead of having my clients have to put some ugly badge on every image because I used a masking tool or whatever else triggers this kind of metadata - or having to provide several versions of an image for every teensy weensy application, since "made with AI" needs to be "well legible" across all devices and in all situations.
