I’m currently a BA at FAANG doing heavy data infrastructure, backend modeling, and ETL work, and I want to pivot into BIE or DE roles. Since my official HR title is "Business Analyst," I’m worried technical recruiters will miss my engineering depth, so I updated my resume header title to Business Analytics Engineer to match my actual daily stack. Does this resume show enough technical depth to land DE/BIE interviews, and does the header change work or look like a red flag against my official titles?

1.What’s the best path to transition from BA → BIE?
2.Is moving from BA → DE feasible, and is it worth it long term?
3.Since skip-level switch isn’t possible, would it be better to move internally as L4 BIE/DE, or stay as BA in the current team for now?
