Tips for Hard Mode with ST?

Edit: oh crap I got the title wrong. I meant without ST.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to make a team work in Hard Mode without a Soul Twisting Rit. It feels as though that is what the game is balanced around. Trying to put a monk in charge of protecting my team feels barely removed from having no protection at all. Everything gets slaughtered mercilessly and I can't seem to figure out any way to do Hard Mode content without Soul Twisting.

How do you all find success with it? I dislike feeling pigeonholed into one type of team and like to mix it up sometimes.

A (maybe) new approach to an old farm for Elementalists

Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6YOPRj9BHk

I didn't love the available info for this farm online so I decided to take a crack at making my own way with it. Happy enough with the results to share with everyone, hope it helps you all get your superior runes you're after or some great Kurzick weapon skins!

Is this a desirable mod on a bow?

Don't think I've ever seen that (not the crippling part, of course). Got it farming Wardens.

Fellow Melandru players: how do you farm cloth?

I've got farms for all other common material types I care about, but I am struggling to amass cloth. Any ideas of good and efficient farms?

  • All campaigns are done
  • I am keenly aware caster armor salvages into cloth.
    • I'm looking to know which ones make for good farms.

Bug turning in EotN book?

I just finished EotN during this double-rep weekend, and instead of getting double rewards (or even normal) from turning in my NM book of 20k rep, I instead got half. Am I missing something? Normal rewards are 20k and I only got 10.

Btw, I do know books don't count for double rep, but nowhere in the announcement does it say half instead so I must conclude this is a bug.

Any Melandru's Accord-focused guilds out there?

Looking to play with people who have the same limitations that I do. Sounds much more fun than being the guy who needs to be carried in content. Anyone know if something like this exists?

A few bugs I've noticed in the Sprite Beta

I'm posting these here because the bug forums never let me submit my reports successfully. I'm not sure if it is a browser issue, but maybe someone else will have better luck. Here's what I've noticed:

  • Edit: Warlord units are two model by default and I am a goober of a man. These items may or may not be related. Thank you, u/CitizenIndrid for helping me see this.
  • The Warlord Commands ascension skill given to rulers provide higher bonuses than described in the description. For example, Command Attack says it should give +3 Strengthened and +2 Fortune, but instead gives +5 and +3 respectively. The amounts given match the Warlord's version despite having a description that implies these should be lesser variants.
  • I've had multiple texture stretching issues during sieges. Couldn't figure out how to reproduce reliably.
  • The Siege Project for Reavers that builds cannons in cities produces usable, but invisible cannons.
  • Naga units in water battles jutter around instead of moving as intended. The whole animation is broken.

I will continue to update this thread as I find more.

I'm running a small mod list, but even with everything turned off the same save will crash trying to lift the blockade when enemy armies swarm the waters around a port city I am sieging.

Just had the hardest battle of my campaign and OF COURSE photosensitive me gets a battle on a map with constantly flashing lightning so I can't actually look at the screen most of the time. Seriously, f the devs for adding this stupid flashy bullshit with no way to turn it off.
