I just downloaded Thief Gold and am playing on pc for the first time, and am using a controller. I’ve always heard this series is legendary and finally decided to give it a try. I’m having fun but know almost nothing about the mechanics/when to use items.

I would like any helpful tips regarding map usage, general knowledge, when to use arrows, etc. the game doesn’t hold your hand at all, which I respect, but I feel really out of my depth. I’m trying to be sneaky but it feels like Im struggling in that department. Especially when it comes to shadows. I feel like I’m in shadow sometimes even though I’m not and vice versa, which throws me off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for time travel or SI centering around Sasuke. I’ve read a ton about Naruto and would like to try something different. The only one I read had Sasuke go crazy during the bell test, which I wasn’t a fan of.

Looking for fics where the MC is good at being a shinobi/their job despite not wanting to be. The example that set me down this road is Atsuko from “To Thine own Self be (Mostly) True”. She is a reincarnated person who writes books that existed in the modern world and becomes a famous author. This turns into her becoming a great spy/diplomat for Konoha despite not wanting any part in those things.

Been trying to beat 32 fear with my favorite axe (Charon) and I can’t seem to get past the rivals Eris fight. Even with Demeter freeze I struggle to hit her with the cast burst damage. I tried death defiances and strength loadouts. Any tips?
