Is it absolutely necessary to live from 19th? I am done with physical reporting and hostel allotment but I just haven't shifted to hostel yet. I had a little accident today and my leg might be a little fractured. So it's seeming to be difficult for me to join from 19th.
I reported today and here's what I concluded.
Take the necessary documents and keep them organised with their photocopies. They'll ask for one photocopy of each of the following:
Class 10 Marksheet
Class 12 Marksheet
Transfer Certificate
Migration certificate
Jee Mains Scorecard
Jee Mains Admit Card (if you've given both sessions, take both admit cards.)
Seat Allotment Result
ABC Card (if you don't have this, generate it. It can be done easily on digilocker.)
(Take aadhar card with you as well. They won't ask for its copy but could tell you to show it to check the forms thoroughly.)
Once you enter the main building, they'll guide you through where the reporting is taking place. It's an auditorium. And just outside of it, you'll be asked to make an entry. Then they'll give you a token number (keep it in mind as it's needed later on). And two forms. (I forgot what they were for but I guess it listed the documents or something.)
Then you'll need to go near the stage where they'll give a pink file form and then three other forms inside of it. The sir there will guide you through what you have to fill.
The Anti ragging thing should be done as per it's given in the notice. And once a reference code is generated, screenshot it as it's going to show up in some places for example on the pink file itself.
Then fill in all the forms as it's explained and then arrange the photocopies of your documents in the serial manner of that first list or paper you got just outside the auditorium. Your signature with date should be on all the photocopies.
Then they'll verify your documents.
They will now call out your token number which you got outside.
Then you'd have to login to the erp portal. It will be explained there properly and you'll be easily logged in.
Then through ERP portal you would be able to pay via net banking, upi, etc etc.
For those worried by UPI's one day limit. The sir there told me it can be sent to some properly educational institutes. So you'll be able to use upi. (The amount for tuition fees is around 1.8 lakhs.)
Then pay the tuition fees amount and then you'd have to meet different panels dealing with stuff and first you'll be given a admission letter and then a reciept.
Then you'd have to pay mess charges (35k) and they'll generate another receipt. She'll then give your hostel and room no.
Now you're almost done and you'd have to scan two codes and fill those forms properly. (Abc id and Anti ragging would be used)
And then once you're done with this you'll finaly enter in a diary and given a book with institution stuff.
You can check out your hostel now. Also the warden would require about 3 photos and photocopy of admission letter and both fee receipts.
Now check out the campus. It's pretty.
Can my father pay by net banking of his account?
I do have an account myself but we'd have to use my father's account for reporting...
Are stuff like electric kettle and hair straightener allowed in girls' hostel?
What should I choose? Which has more scope in future and different fields?
At what rank did mech close (csab r1) here for general male?
How's the situation in girls' hostel? How are the wardens? Strictness? And anything else relevant?
Will I get a seat in Csab if I don't apply for josaa and just apply for CSAB? The seats won't get all filled, will they?
I'll only be getting mech in JoSAA rounds but there are chances for upper branches like ECE in CSAB rounds.
My family is telling me to fill for both. But I think it would be better to apply only for csab. What should I do?
I've been having a hard time. Life has gotten real confusing and while I do have some sources of motivation, but it's just been... hectic.
Something light and pretty would be nice.
Something that might also guide me. Or atleast be relatable.
