Now that I have your attention, you may have seen the polls I’ve been posting recently. First I’d like to give a big thankee-sai to everyone who has been voting and commenting on them; it’s been fun (and a bit surprising) to see how the fandom is split on certain subjects, and we’ve had some pretty interesting discussions.
Now, I’m excited to reveal the what the purpose of these polls has been. After a five year hiatus I am officially reviving my old DT blog—The Church of the Cosmic Turtle—only this time in the form of a podcast!
Keeping to the format of the original blog (splitting the series into 52 segments to ensure one turn of Ka’s wheel takes exactly one year to complete) my co-host and I are making our way along the path of the beam once more, diving deep into each week’s pages and discussing what we can learn from this text that means so much to us.

Now I want to know where you stand on Farson v. Gilead. Was Gilead a righteous governing body with the people’s best interest at heart, or a classist pseudo-monarchy that hordes wealth?
Was Farson a terrorist cult leader trying to conquer In-World, or was he a revolutionary fighting for his people?

Hi all! Some of you may remember my blog from a few years back. Well, after a long hiatus I’m starting my next trip around the wheel of Ka and planning a kind of Church of the Cosmic Turtle Revival, so to speak.
As I get started on this new project I’m really interested in gathering some hard data on how fans feel about the ending. I want to hear from as many of you as possible: do you have an overall optimistic or pessimistic view of the ending/coda of the series?
