Has anyone else experienced a massive drop in Meta Ads performance over the past two weeks?

We run an e-commerce business across European markets with an advertising budget of approximately €500-700 per day.

We've been running Meta Ads consistently for the past 2.5 years, achieving excellent and stable results. During that entire time, we've never experienced anything like this.

Until recently, our campaigns were generating 20-40 orders per day. However, over the past two weeks, sales have suddenly dropped to just a handful of orders daily.

What's particularly concerning is that our ads are still driving a significant amount of traffic to our website, and Meta continues spending the budget as usual. However, that traffic is barely converting anymore.

We've also seen a dramatic decline in add-to-cart events and initiated checkouts. It's not just completed purchases that have dropped, the entire conversion funnel seems to have collapsed, despite the continued high volume of website traffic.

It almost feels as though Meta has suddenly started delivering our ads to a completely different audience with little to no purchase intent.

Campaigns that had been performing extremely well for months have practically stopped working overnight.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues in October 2026?

I'm especially interested in hearing from other e-commerce owners who have been running Meta Ads for years and are managing substantial advertising budgets.

Have you also noticed a sudden collapse in add-to-cart rates, initiated checkouts, and purchases despite consistently high website traffic?

I'm trying to understand whether this is an isolated issue with our ad account or something affecting Meta advertisers on a much larger scale.
