Game stutters at random points on Nintendo Switch.

Ever since I got Dead Cells nearly a month ago, I’ve encountered a bug which happens frequently and is very annoying for me.

at random points in the run from Prision Quarters to High Peak Castle I’ve noticed the game always when on the 60 fps mode stutters and freezes for a few seconds.

I’ve tried redownloading the game and moved it to system memory but still nothing works.

there is no guarantee that I’ve seen it not happen on any stage.

I just wanna hear your thoughts on this? am I being delusional or is this sort of a occasional fps hitch that switch players experience?

[Mobile Web] Having an issue with comments.

Idk what happened but a few hours ago I was able to comment fine and now whenever I comment and then click refresh, the comment just disappears like it was never sent.

this has happened over 4-5 times now and I did the log out, log in workaround but still nothing worked.

I have 73 karma and the only subreddits I’ve been to are r/deadcells and r/riskofrain but also r/slaythespire.

Edit: It’s sorted itself out now, I can finally comment again :)

Anyone else noticing the Nintendo Switch visuals and performances since Patch 1.3.9 and 1.4.1? (Updated)

Since before Patch 1.3.9 I’ve been playing the game, and I’m noticing some specific bugs lately that I’m curious if others are seeing too. Apparently, from what I’ve heard, it’s a memory allocation issue.

Laying out the cards of what I’m seeing:

  • The Visuals: Everything looks like it's stuck on fallback shaders and low res now. Character models have really jagged edges—**I remember the game looking fine back in patch 1.3.8, but that’s just my opinion.**Since we don't have graphical settings on Switch, it feels like there's just no FXAA anymore.
  • The Intro Freeze: The cinematic consistently hangs at 99% for a few seconds. If you try to get the 'skip' prompt to appear during that hang, it freezes. There were no freezes on patch 1.3.8, so this feels like a step backward.
  • The Intense FPS Dips: When patch 1.4.1 came out a few months ago, it introduced an intentional fps dips but what makes this compelling is how because of the memory mismanagement issue it means that now the fps dips grow frequent and are more intense than they were designed to be**. Even when there are no enemies around or spawned.**

I’ve attached a link that leads to the Live Issue Tracker page for the main bug here for those who wish to upvote it but that specific page excludes the intro freeze and the fps dips I'm seeing.

I wanted to hear your thoughts—is this a widespread thing, or am I just imagining the visual dip and performance dip compared to patch 1.3.8?
