First time sculpting ever. Made my girlfriend a hyrax for our 3rd anniversary. (Full process)
Attempt #1: Cheap off-brand polymer clay melted in the oven directly onto the foil skeleton.
Attempt #2: Switched to air-dry clay! Repairing cracks made him extra round and left his paws floating above the ground.
Final result! Fully painted with acrylics and sealed.
