Awawa breakup

Basically I am going through a breakup at the moment. I was watching awawas because they are very cute and give me a great sense of comfort.

Then I opened Instagram and these two awawas cuddling came up. Then I started crying at work.

They have each other 🥺😔😭

Anyways I will be ok. If anyone knows how I can find and cuddle Awawa for healing purposes pls lmk

Psalm 104:18

I am not a religious person, but I thought I'd make this. There are multiple mentions of the awawas in the Bible; more well-known is Proverbs 30:26 (hyraxes are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags) but the Book of Psalms describes them as well.

They are also mentioned in Deuteronomy and Leviticus, as animals whose meat should not be eaten.

In search of DMV zoo with rock hyrax

Greeetings fellow BS with fur enjoyers, my girlfriend and I have been obsessed with hyraxes for over a year and we’ve been dying to see them in person at a zoo.

Does anyone know if there’s a zoo in the DMV region that has them? Thanks all!

saw a hyrax today @ smithsonian national zoo!

i've been wanting to see one forever and i'm so glad i did! the smithsonian national zoological park has this rock hyrax (possibly others but i only saw one) and he was sitting right by the glass. made my day!

Guys. I did it. I saw hyrax today!!!

It was as amazing as I thought. I stood and watched them for like 30 minutes total, they just sat there..Looking so so majestic. They jumped around a couple times, at one point I was maybe two feet from one, it was behind glass of course but I could not have been happier. I got to look at every detail of it for what felt like an eternity. It was like a high. They were so small and as pointy and potato shaped as i imagined. It was one of the best days of my life. ❤️🤗
