How do I clean this insulation?
I planned to wash the carpet and put sound deadening Killmat down, but the insulation underneath also smells and is actually wet.
Can I clean it or can I rip it out and just put Killmat down? Is this for heat insulation from the drivetrain/exhaust or just for sound reduction?
If I can’t wash it but it needs to be in the truck, what should I replace it with?
Also this is a 2006 Avalanche, and I’m guessing the leak is coming from mid gate seal. But if anyone has any other places that would cause this, I’d like to hear
