I tightened my chain to within spec and it made things better but there is now a new noise I notice especially when in neutral. Seems to coincide with the speed of the chain.

This is my first bike, any advice would be much appreciated.

Driving my trusty steed home today and it suddenly started running super rough, flashing engine light. Coasted home as I was close and pulled code p0300 (multiple cylinder misfires).

I know it’s probably wishful thinking but i noticed this connection loose when I plugged in OBD. Any chance it is connected to the problem?

2011 Nissan Xterra Pro-4x Manual transmission.
