Personal Leasing of EVs a thing?

Since the Leaf is gone, or will be as soon as a scrappy answers the phone, in the market for a replacement.

Just a commuter for my wife, so something BYD Atto 1 or equivalent.

Anyone know of any companies doing personal leases of EVs, or had experience?

2016 Leaf with bad battery - worth fixing?

So, bought a 2016 Leaf last year nice and cheap as a local runabout, and it did great, but it died with prejudice on the motorway last Friday. Just got the call from Nissan it's the EV battery. They want to know if I want them to do more investigation or just take it back from them.

Given the age is it worth fixing, or do I just move on and get something else?

And if I do decide to scrap it...how do I do that? Only been in NZ a few years so not sure of the process.

Does Israel have a published National Security Strategy?

Can anyone, without political commentary or flamewar (I know, optimistic), point me at any publication or public statements of Israel's strategy for security with its neighbours?

Obviously they have the powerful military, but it increasingly seems like the strategy is "hit them harder", which is a recipe for endless war and increased terrorist threat. I'm hoping that there is something that defines an end state that Israel is hoping for and a roadmap to get there. Like the published US one , though hopefully more coherent and less ChatGPT written.

Thanks.
