ParClue is a fun daily word game that combines a daily crossword style clue and wordle gameplay.
How to Play
Use the master clue to solve the hidden answer at the top of the board. Each row below is a five-letter word connected to one answer letter.
The gold tile in each row marks the letter that feeds that same position in the master answer.
You may guess one letter, guess a valid five-letter word, or attempt the master answer.
Every valid move costs one stroke. Invalid entries cost nothing. The only stroke bonuses happen on your very first valid move.
A letter guess reveals that letter everywhere it appears. A five-letter word guess reveals matching letters everywhere.
If your first five-letter guess exactly matches a row word, that row is solved and the turn is free: 0 strokes. Row words guessed later still cost one stroke.
Use Solve Master when you are ready to try the answer. A wrong master-answer attempt costs +1 stroke and reveals nothing.
Solve the master answer on your very first valid move to earn a -1 stroke hole-in-one bonus and a celebration.
There are no lives or lockouts. Reveal every row, solve the master answer, and try to finish at or under par.
