Fireworks induced attack

My son had an awful asthma attack tonight, we were lighting off fireworks for the 4th of July and then went to watch the fireworks our town puts on. He started coughing and complaining of his throat feeling funny. He got very wheezy and I gave him his inhaler (he's only 6), we rushed home and his oxygen level was only 92. Gave him a few nebs and symbicort and he has improved.

I googled it and apparently fireworks contain particulate matter that can induce attacks. I was unaware of this but it does make sense. Just wanted to warn people, if you didn't know! Be careful!

Confessed...again

Just needed to tell this to like minded people. Once again, I have made myself look like an idiot by confessing my feelings to my friend. They told me we are good friends and that is it, nothing more. I can't help but feel compelled to continue professing my feelings, I need to stop but I have a one track mind and I feel like I keep focusing on the 0.0000000000001% chance that they might change their mind.

This has been going on for 2 years and I still feel insanely strong about this person. They told me yesterday that they think I "get off on being turned down", and that's why I continue telling them even though the answer is always no. I am so embarrassed but due to working together I need to continue to see this person. Should I seek therapy? Is that the only answer? I work in a specialized field so getting a new job is not possible.

100 mile Century ride

Anyone familiar with the century ride? I have a friend who will be riding in it, and a group from work wants to come and hold up signs to cheer them on, we are not really familiar with the area. If you've done the race or spectated, is there an ideal spot to go? Also, does it draw a large crowd, should we expect it to be extremely busy? Thank you!
