Can someone help me understand how people make synths/where they get them from? I've been listening to twenty one pilots for the first time recently and the production has been really cool, the synths and soundscapes they use are amazing, but I don't understand how people make these in the first place
I'm from the UK and had my pc build for 8 years now, of an i7 8700k and gtx 1080ti with 16gb of ddr3 ram. It's been a real darling and I love it to pieces but as time's gone on it has seriously started to slow down in areas. It's time to look at something new from motherboard up but I'm terrible at this.
I want to play games, stream and do video/audio production on top of using it for normal work. I only play at 1080p so I imagine I don't need the most expensive setup in the world, but I don't understand what cpu/gpu/build etc would be most appropriate for my use case nowadays. I'm not anti looking for second hand computers but I'd like to know what specs I should aim for and how much it might cost me looking for a new pc now. Open to discussion I'm just a bit clueless and need some help

Hi reddit, I got some replacement ear pads for my AKG K371's after the stock cups died a death but I cannot for the bloody life of me find a way to install the new pads, there isn't a mounting groove or similar at the bottom of the headphones themselves it's smooth the whole way round. Trying to get them on has driven me insane, I've got nerve damage in my hands so can't squeeze or pinch super hard. Can some kind person please help what's left of my sanity and and share some pro tips that people use for replacing their cups when things break?
