hello, i dont know much about the technology around this, but i am a gif maker on tumblr and since tumblr upped the gif size a few years ago i want to dip my toes into using 4k movies to screencap.

whenever i take a screenshot it is washed out when the file format is png, but if i change to jxr it is saved in jpg and looks normal, but i do notice the quality isnt as good if it was in 4k.

i have a friend that was able to have original quality when screencapping, it was slow but she was able to do it, that was a couple of years ago so idk how she was able to do it. all i know is that the file format was in png.

would saving a clip of the scene in mkv or x265 and then put it through mpv and save as png work? or would it be low quality and/or washed out?

hey all. so im getting a new job beside the one i have, which means most days ill be working 8 hour shifts from 4am in the morning. i adopted my 1 year old cat in march, so shes an indoor cat.

we have a routine where she usually wakes me at 4am but i dont get up until 7-8am, i do my routine and then i go outside with her in the backyard on a leash, feed her and have some play time.

rn my job is that i work in the evening, so i have the day with her. around 11-12pm she takes her nap.

now my days will change like 2 days a week i still do evening and the other 3 days will be morning, which means i wont be there for her. i can quickly take her out for 10 mins ofc before work but im worried she will get too bored

i live in a basement apartment, decent size, and she does have windows to look out from but obv theres not much to see, only the backyard and sky. bc of this i do focus my time on playing a lot.

but still. ive never worked this long before, my work hours r from 3-6 hours, so ill be away from her even more now.. getting a 2nd cat is not a possibility

also if she sleeps too much she keeps me up all night

is it cruel to leave a cat alone this long especially in a basement apartment?

has anyone been able to get this removed through the premium help acc? by talking to a real person in dms and seeing if they can remove the label?

i got hit with this last year and it hasnt gone away on its own. since the notification is long gone i cant appeal it and wondering if its worth getting premium to see if premium help can fix it
