Recent grad here, currently in my credentialing/waiting around period. My partner and I are starting to look into buying a house, and I was fortunate to graduate with minimal loans thanks to a lot of travel nursing before school.
When we bought our first home, we went the conventional route and needed the usual 2 years of stable income, etc. Obviously I can’t show that now after being in school the last 3 years.
I’ve heard about physician loan programs that will accept a signed job offer letter since they understand the jump from low income to a much higher salary, but I’m not sure if we’d qualify or if there are programs that exist specifically catering to CRNAs.
Anyone whose dealt with this situation have any advice? Did you end up going through a specific lender or mortgage company that works with healthcare professionals?
