I don’t think we should start yelling at our puppy.
My boyfriend and I live together. We got a puppy a few months ago and the puppy is now four months old. I have never had a dog before but my boyfriend has. So I bought some books on puppy training. I have read in the books and online articles that you should not scold puppies for peeing or pooping in the house. But my boyfriend is insisting that it is the best way to get the puppy to stop going in the house, because we have done everything that the books say and he’s still peeing and pooping inside frequently.
I told my boyfriend I will not yell at our puppy but he is saying he’s going to start yelling at him. Am I wrong in insisting he doesn’t yell at our puppy?
