Size Of A Standard WorldBox Map Using How Long It Takes A Human Unit To Walk From South To North Nonstop
Considerations:
The Humans Stomach Trait was removed to prevent them from dying from hunger, all the area on the map was turned into normal land, the human had the average speed stat of 15 which is the normal speedstat for a base human.
Now It took more than a whole year of nonstop walking but the problem is it was halfway through Crabuary or Worldbox's January but we can use a minimum of 1 year and 2 months as it went from Crabuary(Worldbox's January) To Endeambear(Worldbox's December) and went all the way till Joon(Worldbox's June) on year 2 so at minimum it took 1 year and 2 months of walking nonstop to go from south to north as now we use the average human walking speed
Formula:
An average adult walking speed on flat ground is roughly 4.5 to 5.0 kilometers per hour (km/h).
- At 4.5 km/h: 10,224 hours × 4.5 km/h = 46,008 km
- At 5.0 km/h: 10,224 hours × 5.0 km/h = 51,120 km
To put that length into perspective:
- The Earth's circumference at the equator is about 40,075 km.
Calculate the Dimensions
Because the flat landmass takes the exact same time to cross North-to-South and East-to-West, it forms a perfect square.
In Kilometers:
- Width & Length: 51,120 km (10,224 hours × 5 km/h).
In Miles:
- Width & Length: 31,694 miles (10,224 hours × 3.1 mph).
Calculate the Total Area
To find the area, multiply the length by the width. [1]
- Metric System: ~2.61 billion square kilometers.
- Imperial System: ~1.00 billion square miles.
Note: This was a rough theory using a calculator and how long it takes a human unit to go from south to north on a standard wordbox world map
