[17/08/26] Looking for 2-3 extras for an extremely casual 5-a-side match in Haggerston!

Group of fellas that played footy for the first time together a couple of weeks ago, and a handful from Reddit joined us as well. We're at 9 people so far, so could do with a couple more so we can sub on/off when we inevitably get gassed out after two minutes. We're not an intimidating lot at all, just a bunch of chaps who want to play football after watching the World Cup all month. Ages 25-40.

We have a pitch booked in Haggerston at 19:00 for one hour. It's £6 per person - preferably payment via bank transfer but if you'd prefer to bring cash on the night then that's fine.

Drop me a DM if interested!

Looking for some advice on moving to Twickenham, Surrey.

Hello! I've posted this in a few subreddits as I'm not quite sure where would be best to ask - if someone is able to point me in the right direction if this isn't it then that would be super helpful :)

I'm currently living in Hampton, Surrey and working in Walton-on-Thames. Looking to move, and Twickenham/Teddington is currently near the top of my list.

What I need to work out is whether the commute will kill me! Anywhere in that "near Richmond" area going down to Walton every day for 09:00 gives me somewhere between 25-60 minutes on Google Maps, so currently the only other way for me to find out is to do the commute myself. Thought I'd ask here before I do that in case anyone has been in a similar situation!

EDIT: I now know that Twickenham isn't in Surrey. I stand corrected :D

Been watching sports streams for a long time and I'm using to having cycle between different sites to find the one that's currently best. Recently though it seems like every site I go to has some kind of error, or the stream just straight up doesn't work.

In the most recent instance I'm led to believe it might be something in my browser or antivirus that's blocking the stream. I've been trying to watch football on streamed . pk, buffstreams, and streameast, but in both instances everything seems to load until the actual player itself, at which point I just get a black screen.

I'm using a Surfshark VPN extension and I'm on Chrome. I've also been using Brave but I'm unable to access some of the above sites on there without a VPN.

Would appreciate any help anyone can provide me!

First time landlord, just approaching one year with tenants in my flat.

To put it plainly, it's been an absolute pain in the ass every month. The property was new when I bought it 2.5 years ago and I lived in it for the first 1.5 years with very few issues. Had to let it out as I moved away for work so just wanted to have some tenants in the property to cover the mortgage - not interested in making money.

Since they tenants have been in I've had 8 repair requests from them. I can chalk some of this down to them being vigilant, but it's still killing me financially.

My issue lies with my letting agent. It seems to me that all they do is hit me with bills. It's pretty much a regular occurrence to receive my management statement at the end of the month and suddenly have to find another few hundred to cover the next mortgage statement. I'm not convinced that what I'm paying them is actually providing value to me.

I would like to hear from people who have ditched their letting agent/management company and gone private. Has it been a good/bad decision for you? My thoughts are to ditch the monthly cost that's going to them and reduce my tenant's rent by £50.
