Monitor scaling issues

Cachy os
Hyprland (I installed kde and then switched with ml4w)
1 monitor 3440x1440 144hz connected with dp

The wallpaper engine should be swww

Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Rtx4070ti

I already searched online, but couldn’t find anything.

If I’m using monitor scaling and reboot my system. On the bottom and right side, the wallpaper won’t perfectly scale. There is a gap you can see the hyprland default wallpaper(with the girl) under the normal wallpaper. Probably 25-40 pixels wide (the gap).

If I switch to 1x scaling and then back to 1.33x it’s gone, but after rebooting it appears again.
It’s a fresh installation and (installed yesterday) and just noticed it.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Or a little script that changes it from 1.33x to 1x and then again to 1.33x after booting? I’m new so I don’t know anything about scripts

Vscode vs. Vscodium Both telemetry free?

I want to install an ide for Python,

Now I have come across „code“ and „vscodium“.

From what I have researched „vscodium“ nullifies telemetry data,
but I have also found that only the finished Windows version of Vscode ships with telemetry scripts.

What’s the difference between the two and which would you recommend? Or a different option?

Keep in mind I’m Fairly new to coding and Linux.

I’m currently using hyprland with ml4w,
Thanks

This is how haier installed my AC

This was done by Haier's authorised technicians mind you.

The installation was free yes, but I wasn't told it was going to be low quality.

If we employ a private contractor for installation, they void our warranty. If we don't, they do this.

I work with nasty people.

I work building IT. I have replaced one employee's mouse every 2 months since ive started. Employee claims that they do not eat at their desk. It gets so bad that the mouse actually loses functionality. Recommendations on a mouse that is cheap and will last longer, ways to prevent this (that don't require me "checking in" on this employee), or maybe doctors that they can go to to get this checked out?

Edit: this mouse is used in an office setting. The picture was taken at my downstairs work bench after I replaced it with a new sacrifice.
