What should I bring and what can I expect during this? This is my first job for a company I’ve only worked at small businesses before.

I started doordash to make some money as Im waiting to start my new bartending job. My friend does it as a side hustle and said it was alright. Yesterday was my first day I only dashed for 1hr and made $21 for three orders. All was fairly easy but today I tried it again first order was raising canes the customer who ordered forgot to change her address. So I drove to her work just to find out shes not working and I called her told her everything; she apologized and gave me the right address. I only got $6.50 that order which took 35mins, doordash paid me $4.15 she only gave me $2 for tip. Second order was at this small restaurant I showed up and asked for the customers name. They said someone else already took the order a whole hour ago. IF THE ORDER WAS TAKEN THEN WHY WAS DOORDASH STILL PUSHING IT OUT. I wasted my time and gas for absolute BULLSHIT. In total I made $28.10 I can’t even fill my gas tank up with that which I wasted 3/4 of my tank just for this. I made more money in a hour playing video games at my house than running around like a manic. Much respect to yall who try making this a living but seriously there’s better things to do with life than this. The only way I see someone actually profiting off this app is if they’re doing it in a city on a bike. It could’ve just been the fact I did different locations and different rushes yesterday was a dinner rush today i did a lunch rush. But you’ll think as a new dasher they’ll make it look like the app has their shit together. Nope it’s a total mess and I’m glad I found out this soon.
