Popped into John Lewis here in London and saw these Red Wing 3322s. Thought I'd try them on so I'd know my size and it turns out they were 50% off. So decided to pull the trigger as I'd been tepidly interested in their Weekender Chukkas for a while. Although I'd rather have got the suede/rough out version, I thought it was a sweet enough deal not to let pass. So thought I'd share my good fortune with the community.

Although, one issue I have is that it seems the left and right shoes were manufactured a month apart (see last pic). Is this normal? And should I take issue with it? Or should I "just wear them"? Also, forgive my crooked in store fit pics.

I've been eyeing up a pair of Beckman 9423s for about a year now and have finally pulled the trigger. These are my first newly bought Red Wings and I'm loving them so far. Thought I'd share my enthusiasm with the community. Anyone else rocking these boots? Feel free to share pics, care tips and experiences with the Beckmans.

Just bought these Levi's selvedge 501 cotton/hemp jeans on Vinted. I wanted something cheap and cheerful for sunnier days so when I saw these for £55 I decided to pull the trigger.

They seem fine but the leather patch seemed a bit soft and thin. And the selvedge ID didn't have the usual Levi's red stitch. So it made me wonder if they were legit. In any case, they seem to do the job but thought I'd ask for the opinion of others anyway.

I recently acquired this Stan Ray tropical jungle jacket from Vinted. I loved the material, styling and general fit but just felt it looked too long on me (although a lot of people on here seemed to like the original fit 🙏). So I decided to take a gamble and use my limited sewing skills to shorten it.

Not the best sewing job ever. And didn't want to shorten it too much. But here are the before and after pics.

Just picked up this Stan Ray tropical jungle jacket from Vinted. I'm liking it but feel it might be too long. What do you guys think?
