Lenovo LOQ i7-13700HX + RTX 5060 suddenly died - No charging light, won't power on
Hi everyone,
My Lenovo LOQ (i7-13700HX + RTX 5060) suddenly stopped working today.
Here's what happened:
The laptop was ON when it happened.
It suddenly shut down and now it won't turn on at all.
The charging LED doesn't light up when I connect the charger.
I checked the charger connection multiple times.
The charger and laptop are both cool now, although when I first plugged it back in I could feel a very slight electrical sensation on the metal part near the connector.
There was no burning smell, smoke, or unusual noise.
The laptop is only a few days old and is still under warranty.
Things I've already tried:
Holding the power button for 30-60 seconds.
Disconnecting and reconnecting the charger.
Trying different wall outlets.
Nothing has worked so far.
Has anyone experienced this with a Lenovo LOQ? Does this sound like a motherboard failure, charging circuit issue, or could it simply be a faulty AC adapter?
I'm planning to claim warranty, but I'd like to know if anyone has had a similar experience and what the final diagnosis was.
Thanks!
