Size that they recommend is missing..

I recently made a post abt chuck 70s sizing being off

https://www.reddit.com/r/Converse/s/qWGFhu5426

Weird thing is, I kinda dove into the measurements a bit lol

So, my heel to toe is 25.5cm
On every major brand, Nike, adidas, ON, my size is therefore US 8 / EU 41.

Now, chuck 70 says they run big and to order half a size smaller.

So the chart says if I’m a EU 41, order a EU40.5

But, there IS NO EU40.5

No wonder the EU 40 that I ordered felt tight and EU 41 felt clownish (obviously so cuz they run big)

URGHHH!!
Why’s there no EU40.5 size that they themselves mention..

Sad noises..

Sizing advice - Captain

Hi all, I'm in the Netherlands and about to pull the trigger on my first pair of Captains in Brandy. My main concern is sizing since international returns are a hassle and I want to get it right first try.

My heel-to-toe measurement is 25.5 cm. I wear US 8 in Nike Dunks, ON Cloudtilts, and Adidas NMDs. The one exception is Nike AF1s where US 8 felt too roomy and I sized down to 7.5. However, AF1s do mention in their site to size down as they run large.

Does this mean I should go US 7.5 in the Captain? Or is the AF1 an anomaly and I should stick with my usual US 8? I've seen some people suggest Thursday runs slightly long but would love to hear from anyone with a similar foot length or sneaker size. Thanks in advance!
