Hey guys, my first post here and im desperate for some knowledgeable eyes. i was just about to leave town on the 13th for a road trip when my car threw codes for the first time since i got it. just FYI, i do have a blue driver scan tool, however i dont know how to interpret the mass of data available to me so I'll be attaching that in the imgur link below, if there are other metrics that would be helpful to track lmk and i can test for them on the spot i call "the hill of death" a steep incline on the freeway which is the only spot that seems to trigger the codes. besides that spot the car seems to run fine

https://imgur.com/a/bluedriver-data-troubleshooting-misfire-on-2015-toyota-avalon-69RSZYd

Since the issue started, i have done a couple things:

- changed the air filter for the first time in a while on the 11th, pre road trip/CEL. Oil also changed recently and levels good.

- changed the spark plugs (they were original) with denso plugs and coils with TRQ coil plugs. even after the switch the specific cylinders (when specifically thrown by ECU) are still 1 and 6. Quick note too, i repair electronics for a living so I actually did not have much issue replacing the coils and plugs WITHOUT removing the air intake manifold, im used to working in small delicate spaces. condition of original plugs in reference image attached, i think i kept them in the correct order, ie rear left is cyl1, front right cyl6

- added lucas fuel injector cleaner to the full fuel tank, so far have consumed 1/4 of the treated fuel

- patched up a cable on some sensor attached to the intake snorkel that had gotten sheared off somehow. i know ive driven fine for at least 2 hour drives with it like that, unknown how long it was that way. cables were purple and green, green was snipped and now soldered with a patch as of last night (reference image attached)

- held a discharging propane tank around all vaccuum lines, airbox, etc that i can see from the top of the bay under the hood, have not noticed any reactions

- Oreily's tested battery and alternator and both tested adequately

Anyway, if anyone can offer me so advice, assistance, or knowledgable insight id appreciate it so much, I have a very disappointed birthday boy who was hoping to planning to see the Grand Canyon and now is doomscrolling while i play in the garage 🙏 thanks in advance!

my 2 cents on the current state of affairs...

my second attempt at uploading this, the first one was immediately removed by the filters I'm assuming because of the posted links? Have to try again because I feel like this one is important

image generator for editing hand drawn art?

EDIT: my son suggested trying Manus and this was the result. I'm beyond impressed, even in its prime gemini has always felt like herding cats who dropped acid, but somehow manus understood the assignment immediately. highly recommend, here is the example work im doing, orignal sketch, gemini's suckmaxxing, and manus' instant win

Hey guys question, so my whole schtick is that my son draws really great original characters and I use AI (used to be Gemini) to upload the drawings as a reference images and detail and stylize them and create reference shots and story boards to make animated videos out of his original characters. Anyway Gemini has completely shit the bed after whatever update they recently did, when I upload one of my son's drawings and ask it to change something or color it or just anything it now completely hallucinate a new image and character form that is too far removed from the original art to be useful. Honestly it almost feels mocking and sarcastic though I know it's just a machine it feels like it's fucking with me. It used to be really good but now it is complete shit so I'm hoping someone might have some suggestions on what is a good tool for editing an existing image, particularly and avant-garde or surreal/Grotesque image, in a way that will use the original reference as a rule rather than an inspirational suggestion. Thanks in advance I want to put my fist through the computer after wrestling with Gemini the last hour

the original drawing

Gemini's failure that i pay money for each month

Manus 1.6 Lite, one the first try for free smh. bye google...

HEADS UP IF U NEED ICE-100 BOWL

The replacement bowls for this machine are currently in stock at cuisinart.com.I know I have seen other people have this issue of needing a replacement bowl for the ice 100 and not being able to find them anywhere, I too wanted a second bowl because A) I f***** up my galvanized coating and B) it just seems more convenient to have 2. I got my order placed so now I'm giving a heads up if anyone else needs 😉

These are old pictures but having discovered this group i can finally share them with ppl who care lol

So this was a basic custard base

2c hc, 2c wm, 1/4 c sugar, the pictured pistachio cream added to the base until it felt right 🤷‍♂️ (its sweet so to taste), 4 yolks, 1/2 tsp of Madagascar vanilla bean paste, 1/2 tsp almond extract, and Tahini to taste (i wanna say it was like a tsp? And some blue and yellow food coloring because im vain like that

Anyway the magic was the mixins. Smuckers hot fudge (but just room temp so as to not melt the base) and the kataifi crunchies. Toast kataifi in some melted butter until brown and set aside. Melt down the highest quality chocolate you can find (i usually added another tablespoon of the pistachio cream to the melted chocolate because I bought an ungodly amount of it) stir in the kataifi until coated lay on parchment paper in the freezer and then once cold and set, break into chunks and food process into desired morsel size

This one was crazy good, and coating the kataifi in the chocolate preserved the crunchiness, my goal was making it as close to the mouthfeel of a dubai chocolate bar as possible

I've been making a lot of ice creams since scoring a cuisinart ice100 from an estate sale for 30 bucks 🤑 anyway I found this extract at Walmart it was like half the cost of an ice cream maker 😉 per bottle but its magic. So this is butterbeer flavored ice cream with a butterscotch Ripple chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough, crumbled Heath bar, *dehydrated* marshmallows (marshmallow is incredible in ice cream if you dehydrate it in an air fryer or whatever else for a few hours, the ice cream base rehydrates them and makes it more like an integrated fudge rather than its own entity), I also threw in some limited edition butter beer goldfish grams but I don't think those are available anymore. But yeah literally my favorite ice cream I've made so far, maybe even more so than the Dubai chocolate I made

Automod wants deets so okay

2 cups heavy cream 2 cups whole milk 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1/8 tsp salt 1/8 tsp xanthan gum (in a couple tablespoons of extra granulated sugar because I forgot when trying all CM that id need a dry ingredient) 1-2 tbsp of butter beer extract 1 tsp of this bombass madagascar vanilla paste that i found at costco and put in everything all the time 4 egg yolks

And then candy and all the aformentioned to taste or until u run out of room in whatever container youre using

FIN
