This is my new Seiko 5 SRPJ81 which I got yesterday. I was quite disappointed with the bracelet it comes with, but understand that given the relatively inexpensive price of this watch cost savings have to come from somewhere! Immediately purchased an inexpensive CTS FKM rubber strap from Amazon which I feel really elevates this piece. What do we think? 😊 Very much looking forward to taking this on holiday soon!
My collection so far. Perhaps counter-intuitively the Speedmaster 38 was the first in the collection as an extremely generous gift from my family following finishing my PhD. My brother got me the CA53-W for Christmas one year and I bought the Seiko 5 SRPJ81 today as a sort of travel watch. I'd have liked to have gotten a GMT but but alas the budget wouldn't allow it (and it's quite difficult to find a GMT that would fit my small wrist!). Looking to get a PRX 35mm for my 30th later this year (probs with blue dial). Any watch recommendations for wrists around 5.75" I'm all ears! Would love to know what people think of my collection so far as I don't really have anyone else in my life who's into watches haha
