I’m back for help from anyone

Ok so awhile ago I was on here seeing if anyone knew of any journalism internships to try and reach out to so I can graduate.

A yearish later and I still have no luck, I need to graduate this upcoming semester due to my future of enlisting in the military and not knowing how long I’ll be till I can go back to school, I don’t want to waste all the money spent on these classes just for them to be useless and/or gone due to a long period of time.

The actions I have taken were reaching out to my advisor, the person who oversees the journalism department as a whole, and the person who oversees the internships.

I am beyond frustrated at this point every answer I got was to check the CSN internship website but here’s the kicker- in the photos attached one is the email I received back informed me that the coordinator of the the CSN radio seems to have retired….but his information is still link to the website, I also named a few positions I was interested in and you can see in the photos she states “I don’t know how you heard of these positions”. All the information I have gotten and used was from the website, if one of these resources is incorrect how many others are as well.

I was wondering if any know how I could petition to get these credits covered by another class, waived, or if there is someone in a higher position I can reach out to.

A lil vent as a broista

Hi yall I’m a fresh broista I had flowed out about 2 weeks ago andddd. I’ve been working opening shifts and love the crew they always invite me into convos, very helpful when I have questions yk all the good things. Now there a lead she mainly closes but has worked opening with me a few times and idk she very I don’t want to say harsh but comes off that way when correcting me and even when I strike up a conversation it’s either ignored or dry.
See now I’m pushing 23 and I won’t be working here for more than a year due to yk life so I don’t let it bother me much since I’m only there for a few hours, but I thought being in a stand with more people over 20 rather then a bunch of teens there would be less weird stuff and drama (especially since our regional manager is huge against drama).

But the only thing that bothers me is how she corrects me, she corrects me as if I’m litterally a 5 year old needing math homework help. For example when I’m linebusting I will always read orders back I’ve been taught to read orders back since my first job at 16 but she’s constantly on me and asking me if I am and when I say yes she responds with a tone like I’m lying to her. Like sorry the customer last minute wanted to add something on their drink after I put the order in. I orginally thought this is how she is with everyone but after being in the stand for a few she is extremely nice to other workers and alway chating others up.

(Side note i know not everyone is gonna like me it’s life it’s only the corrections kinds bother me because although im knew I wasn’t born yesterday I’ve had other jobs that cross over into this and makes it easy for me I’m also not a new person that thinks they know what they are doing I’m 100% confident I know what I’m doing especially when in service positions)
