Corfu to Athens to Thessaloniki to Halkidiki to Zakynthos

With my girl insistent in bringing 4 wheel luggage (lol) - that make it difficult to visit the islands because of the size of her luggage, I’ve identified four hotels in Corfu to Athens to Thessaloniki to Halkidiki to Zakynthos as the places to consider

Since our trip in late July is 8 days, it appears to be best to stay in two cities, with tours from those cities

Athens to Corfu appears to have culture
Halkidiki appears to have some crime and dirtiness issues
Zakybthoa ans Thessaloniki appears to not as well known hence minimal crowds/expensive prices in pleased such as Santorini

Cinsidering staying in Athens first to go first and last to leave her large luggage to visit the islands

Looking forward to beautiful/romantic/isolated beaches, great cuisine, local vibe and historical culture

Recommended Clothing (late July)

from reading the many posts and especially in late July, appears that beach attire to casual to dress casual is the recommended clothes attire in late July

Dilemma
My +1 want to go to parties where she can dress elegantly, in elegant dresses that she saw online

Noting in countless posts that traveling with large luggage with rollers would be a challenging experience (in this case, for myself).

Anticipating that her past history will continue, what options do I have for a 7-8 days trip

Thoughts
Suggestions
Alternatives

Note: would be great to have websites as references since often she believe me - even if we’re going to places I know well and it was her first time - lol!!
~ Since Spanish is her first language, are there Spanish-speaking websites (I’m sure there are) about the dilemma I’m facing - lol

Day Cruise Romantic Delights

Considering a day cruise to the Saronic Islands because of allure of having a romantic time to either Hydra, Poros, or Aegina, where one can swim in crystal-clear waters and enjoy fresh seafood on the water.

As a James Bond fanatic, can I recreate the iconic scene between Halle Berry and Pierce Brosnan in these locales

Any suggestions or experiences about these excursions to be on my upcoming late July 2026 7-9 days adventures would be great

On my first trip to Greece, looking to learn about Greek culture/history (Athens).

Discovered other places such as

Sifnos that has been described as being famous for its rich culinary scene (from casual seaside taverns to upscale spots) and lack of international mega-tourism.

Folefansros is supposed to be a quiet retreat just a quick boat ride from Santorini, perfect for hiking, sunset watching, and enjoying peaceful taverns without loud nightlife.

Hydra’s lack of cars making it the perfect tranquil, car-free setting for an Athenians' romantic escape. Where are the best places

Heard about Monemvasia as the "Gibraltar of the East," where one can spend a romantic weekend in the Peloponnese.

Going to Pelion seems tempting because of its secluded beaches and traditional, stone-built villages.

Would spending romantic moments together in Anafiotika, near Acropolis be worthwhile
