Water!!!

Why did my Safeways make everyone sign a paper saying they will drink plenty of water as to not get dehydrated yet don't allow the bakery staff to have a bottle of water in the department. So you now have to leave your department walk all the way to the back of the store get a drink and come back. Then they complain that work isn't getting done because of all the water breaks. I get not having it in the production areas or around the baked goods but in a shelf in the dishwashing area isn't going to contaminate anything. I also would understand coffee/fountain drinks not being allowed but a bottle of water with your name and date would seem harmless. Please make this make sense.

My Deli manager is a micromanaging pro!

My manager in the deli is the worst micromanager. Tells you to do something while you're actually doing that particular thing at that very moment. Then 5 mins later comes rushing by as if there is a fire to tell you to go do something else. He makes back-handed comments on how things don't get done. He is the reason nothing gets done cause he doesn't give a person a chance to get them done before barking for you to start a different task. Runs around like a tweeker. He wants shit done as if you can snap your fingers and bam it's done. He won't help customers in fact tells a customer the other day he couldn't make a sandwich cause he isn't allowed to help customers. He is the manager and they don't let managers help customers. WTF? I swear he is on something. He will be chill one minute then he turns into a freak show. I spend more time setting up a task then putting it away to set up a different task to be told to stop and do something else. All while helping customers. SD is fully aware in fact he has 23 complaints towards him cause of how he treats the staff. He shoves carts into staff when he throws his tantrums. When he works everyone is on edge and nothing gets done. I have to work with him and need to know how to handle this clown. I know I should get out of the deli but I actually like the deli except for this situation. The work isn't hard it's just an unorganized mess. I started taking pictures of everything I do cause he runs to management telling them nobody does anything over in that department. So I take a picture for proof. Been documenting everything every shift. I now want to wear a damn microphone and record every encounter with this tool. Any advice? Please help it's a freak show.
