Going to whistler next week and I'm seeing it's like 15 degrees over there. What are you wearing when you're riding? Not too sure if I should bring hoodies and / or jackets for the mountain.

Currently riding with a Pivot Switchblade and I realise that I only ride DH now where there are chairlifts.

Friend of mine suggested that I swap my Pivot to a DH bike (I really like the Commencal Supreme but never tried it).
​
Is there any drawbacks or more likely only upside to switching since I only do chairlifts now. I don't wanna lose the "playfullness" of the Pivot.
