Too much hands on corrections?

Hello!

This question is geared more towards women that have had male instructors or male instructors that can weigh in, but have you ever felt like your male instructors were a lot more “physical” than your female instructors? I recently had my first class with a new male instructor and I myself am fairly new to Pilates too which could be why my form needed help. He did ask for permission for hands on corrections and I did say it was okay, but I felt like I was getting hands on corrections for nearly every move after that, more than any other individuals in my class. A lot of the corrections involved grabbing my waist, lower back, and hips.

I ended up leaving class feeling uncomfortable. I learned my lesson that will not give permission for hands on corrections moving forward, but am I overthinking this? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Thank you so much!
Edit: grammar

Memorial Day sales?

Hello! I have heard that sometimes there are Memorial Day sales for Oura Rings. Does anyone know if that may be the case for this year?

Pilates + Losing weight, should I be doing something else?

Hello beautiful people! I am fairly new Pilates (like one month in) and I absolutely love it. As a full time working mom, it was really hard to find time to work out, let alone enjoy it so I am happy I went out of my comfort zone and tried Pilates.

I do want some advice from the pros out there; I am trying to tone up and lose a small amount of weight. I have already noticed a difference in my core, posture, and overall how I feel but I do wonder sometimes if I need something more “intense” to lose the stubborn post baby belly? I currently have only been going twice a week into level 1 courses. I just went up to the unlimited membership and aim to try and go at least 3 times a week. Will I be able to achieve my goal of losing weight about 10 pounds or will I need to supplement with another work out? If so, do you have any other places/classes you would recommend? Also, when you begin feeling ready to level up to a 1.5 class? About how many classes in did it take you?

I am already fairly lean, but just want to get my pink back. ☺️

Thank you so much!
