Does anyone recognize what is going on with the Peruvian Apple cactus. I have three of these, that were under 3 feet tall when I moved in last year. Now they are a towering 12 foot. Of the three, this one has developed this scabbing and scarring on it. It does not scrape off, so I don’t think it’s scale, could it possibly just be corking??

Does anyone recognize what is going on with my Peruvian Apple cactus. When I moved into the house last year, they were “under 3 feet tall” (there are 3), now they are 12’ tall!! One has developed the scarring and marking on it. Of the three of these, this one is doing it. It doesn’t seem too scrape off so I don’t think it’s scale. Could it possibly be corking?
