Royce (S10)

Been watching s10 again which is one of my favourite seasons despite all the drama and bitchiness. And Royce is hands down one of the most deluded chefs in HK history. He was no way near as amazing as he alone thought he was. I was extremely relieved when he was FINALLY eliminated.

Kimmie (S10)

Am I the only one who kind of has a soft spot for Kimmie?. I didn't like her much at the start, but she grew on me as the season went on. Yeah, she could be a bitch especially to Barbie, but I think she was actually a nice person deep down unlike Robyn and Tiffany. Out of the three, Tiffany was by far the worst person cause of her temper and lack of passion.

Favourite Horror Posters

Just something I felt like asking. What are people's favourite horror movie posters?. I love a lot (obviously!), but this is probably my absolute favourite. It's just so iconic.

The Evil Dead and Creepshow

Absolutely love that the same music used in The Evil Dead was also used in the segment 'They're Creeping Up On You' in Creepshow. Does make me wonder if Romero and King chose that specific piece of music as a little homage to Evil Dead (I know King was a fan).

Evil Dead Burn

Been looking forward to watching the new Evil Dead movie for months and I finally saw it last night. Know it received mixed reviews, but I absolutely loved it. It was classic Evil Dead; blood...lots and lots of blood!!. Loved the previous one, Evil Dead Rise, and I actually loved this one more cause the carnage was higher. The Evil Dead is my absolute favourite horror franchise. It hasn't disappointed yet as every film in the franchise has been a killer along with the TV series Ash Vs Evil Dead which I'm still salty over it getting the chop after just three seasons. This film was a solid 10 possessions out of 10 for me.

Black Jack Randall vs Ramsay Bolton

Being a pretty big fan of Outlander and Game of Thrones, I am thinking about something. Which character do people think is more horrendous, Black Jack Randall (Outlander) or Ramsay Bolton ( GoT)?. Honestly, I would say they're level, but Black Jack legitimately scares me a little more than Ramsay does.

Creep

The Creep franchise has easily become one of my favourite horror franchises. Both movies are awesome FF films (really hope they do a third one) and the tv spin-off The Creep Tapes is equally awesome. Think the attraction and charm for me is that main character Josef (pretty sure that's not his actual name). Mark Duplass plays him so, so perfectly. He's genuinely unnerving and creepy. Think he's a definite horror icon.

Obsession

So I went to see Obsession for a second time which was even better than the first. Bear is hands down one of the biggest horror movie villains. He basically destroys three people's lives all because he couldn't accept that the woman he supposedly loves doesn't feel the same way (part of me thinks he doesn't really love her). Seriously, fuck that guy!!.

Jay (season 7)

Seriously, the more I rewatch season 7, the more I dislike Jay. His ego is just too much to handle especially when he loses a challenge. And his whole attempt at trying to get into Holli's pants gets more revolting to watch everytime. At the time, I was sad he lost, but now I'm so happy he did.

Obsession

Been wanting to watch Obsession for a while and it definitely didn't disappoint. Think it's an instant horror classic. Found it impossible to feel sorry for Bear, though. He was a humongous idiot. Clearly he never heard the expressions 'be careful what you wish for' and 'you reap what you sow.'

Benjamin

Watching season 7 again and I swear, Benjamin gets worse with every single rewatch. Genuinely thinks he doesn't like women being in the kitchen and being chefs. Was actually shocked he had a wife!. Scott was a delusional jackass, but actually think Benjamin was worse than him. He needed a hot pan thrown at him!. Thank god he wasn't as toxic when he came back in All-Stars.

The Ugly Stepsister

So I watched this again recently and fell in love with it all over again. It's not only one of the best body horrors, but one of the best non-English language horror films. It looks absolutely gorgeous and Lea Myren gives a phenomenal performance as Elvira. And I love that it was more faithful to the original fairytale. Think we need more horror movies based on fairytales as most of them were basically horror stories.

Least Favourite Episodes

Seen people discuss favourite episodes on here. But what are people's least favourite episodes?. For me, most of season 7 was really poor apart from maybe three episodes. Think the first two episodes in particular aren't great. Not keen on The Pit from season 6 either. Think season 6 was kind of a mixed bag, really though I favour it over season 7.

Three's a Crowd

For me, the season two episode Three's a Crowd has probably the cruelest twist ending. I actually think it could easily have been an episode of the 90's reboot of The Outer Limits as that show was known for having cruel twist endings that are hard to forget.

Gruesome Episode Endings

Been thinking about episodes that ended really gruesomely. Think the one that always gets me is Two For the Show (s5) with Barney feeding the body parts of Andy's wife into a garbage disposal. That always really grosses me out!. The second one is None but the lonely Heart (s4) with Howard getting eaten by his zombie wives.

More Favourite Episode Endings

Two more favourite episode endings of mine are Forever Ambergris (S5) and 99 and 44/100% Pure Horror (S6). Find those endings kind of similar cause they both involve the human body melting and falling apart. The eyeball in the soap bar in the latter episode always gets me.

Beauty Rest

I have a lot of favourite episode endings and the ending to Beauty Rest in season 4 is easily in my top five. It's probably my favourite episode from that season. And I find it pretty amusing that Helen goes through killing off women in order to win a beauty contest only to end up a corpse on display.

Brain Dead aka Dead Alive

So I've been wanting to watch Brain Dead aka Dead Alive for probably years and I FINALLY watched it last night. Man, it definitely didn't disappoint!!. It was absolutely hilarious. Think it could easily be a Troma film as the humour was very Troma-like. It was hands down the goriest film I've ever watched. It's definitely a favourite horror of mine now.
