My cousin ended up losing his house and almost dying during the storm. He and his wife lost everything and had to deal with the trauma of escaping a collapsed house and hiding outside during a category 5 hurricane. Her response just makes my blood boil and made me end the friendship. The irony is this person has a popular IG account posting inspirational quotes and content about being a good compassionate person.

He randomly asked me if he thinks I could marry someone with money one day and I said yes because I would prefer a partner in a similar financial bracket. He proceeded to freak out.
