A friend sent me a low res very small picture (first pic), and told me she needed it made into a 2 foot x3 foot banner.

It took me 83 hours total. I do not like the way it’s short black fabric on the bottom but what’s done is done.

I had to make a drawing of the cup and then template out of card stock, then transferred to the piece. For the lion, I drew it larger, then cut out each piece, and used those as the templates for the fabric.

Forgive me if I’m not making sense. I completed this in under 2 weeks.

I believe the previous owners planted it in 1997. It was not cute when I bought the house 10 years ago. So proud 🥹

I have to trim my Bee Balms early or they will be taller than me. So I dried up most of my clippings from my first cutting.

Any suggestions for what to do with it besides tea? I don’t drink much tea….

I do make tinctures and soaps. Would love some suggestions!
