“Dad! He stole my bed!”
I took my old boy Vizsla to work along with The Left Hand of Darkness. I guess this photo makes the hierarchy clear. They are best mates though- the Vizsla is the only dog The Left Hand gets along with.

The Very Large Vizsla knows how to relax.
It’s pretty warm now, he’s cooling off after a walk.
Someone was wondering if His Infernal Excellency’s new bed was big enough for him. As you can tell, there’s more than enough space. In fact, there might even be room for a second Weimaraner…
The Left Hand of Darkness has a new day bed. He goes to work with me, and his old bed was getting a bit tired, so we got him a new one. We decided to match colours while we’re at it.
The Left Hand of Darkness decided his breakfast wasn’t enough, so he snaffled a box of Timbits (donut holes to non-Canadians). He is currently in a food coma, but normal chaos will resume in an hour or two.
I’m waiting on a .300 Blackout barrel for a Tikka, when I was reminded of the 6x45. This little cartridge enjoyed some popularity in South Africa- so much so that PMP starting loading ammunition for it.
I’m playing with the idea of getting a 6x45 barrel next year, but I’d love to hear from anyone here who has used it.
The lupins are enjoying the wet weather this spring/ summer. Me and Lord Snirr, not so much.
We don’t fear cobra chickens…

Now I just need a bear to show up.
I’d like to build a Hill style longbow, aiming for circa #35@26”, 66” ntn. I would like some advice on lamination thickness- I’ll be using .040” glass on back and belly.
Thanks in advance!
