Splitting the body

This is my 1/16th scale SD.KFZ.250. Which is a replica i have been working on for two days, however i have ran into a bit of a headscratcher. How would i split the hull, without it benig an eyesore?

The blocky parts over the tracks are stowage boxes which will be mounted to the sides and are not part of the main body. The suspention linkages will be hidden with a floor above, which ends with the dashboard piece (incomplete).

SD.KFZ 250 1/16

Not exactly a tank. however it is tracked and i am planning to 3D print it when i am done designing it.

It is still lacking an interior, however all the mechanical stuff and suspention is ready to go.

Engage hyperdrive

I found the jumping spider again on the table.

She was stalking a fly, pounced and missed. I did get her before and mid launch tho.

Loop length constraints?

I want to build a rc tank, one for maximum speed and durability. I want to use a TPU 3D printed track which i will print in one single piece. This however can be quite hard, as i want to make the track track length as large as possible, without oversizing the vehicle.

Is there a way to constrain on loop length?

Material choise for casting racing tank track links

I am building 3D printed 1/10th scale rc tank. It is kind of a replica but also isn't, as it will be built for off-road racing.

It will weight 7 kilos and the as designed top speed will be 30km/h. I already know FDM 3D printed tracks will not be able to withstand the shock and whipping forces the track will experience throughout its use.

Thats why i want to cast the links with a Silicone mold.

I considered using epoxy, which i already have, however i fear that epoxy would shatter when going any hard bump.

What could i use to cast the links?

Casting parts

I want to cast these parts in a stronger material, as i know for a fact, PLA tracks won't hold up for what i am building. I am making a 1/10 scale tank. This is a tank similar to the amx cdc and it has a projected top speed of about 30 km/h.

Normal resin is to brittle, that i know for a fact. i have a Silicone mold ready, however i am at a loss for what material i should use to cast these tracks.

I feel like you guys already had this problem in the past, so that's why u am asking it here.
