Salut tout le monde, première fois que je post icitte. Ma blonde pis moi (24M, 26F) on part en Italie du 23 août au 2 septembre pis on capote pas mal sur la 2e partie du voyage.
Ce qu’on sait déjà qu’on fait:
• 23-24 août: Florence, on dort là les 2 soirs
• 24 août dans la journée: tour de vignobles en Toscane
• 25 août au 1er sept: mode bord de mer, c’est là qu’on est mêlés
• 1er sept: retour à Rome, vol de retour le 2
Faque on a une bonne semaine à passer proche de la mer pis on hésite entre 2 options:
1. La côte ligure, on pensait à Camogli pis Portofino surtout. On regardait aussi les Cinque Terre mais tout ce que je lis dit que c’est un cirque fin août, faque ça nous dérange pas de sauter ça s’il y a mieux dans le coin. Ça vaut la peine pareil ou on laisse faire?
2. La côte amalfitaine. Ça a l’air fou raide évidemment mais je suis un peu nerveux avec la distance à partir de Florence pis le retour à Rome pour notre vol.
Une affaire sur nous autres: on aime les beaux endroits mais on a pas besoin des spots ultra touristiques pour être contents. Si y’a une plus petite place plus tranquille dans le coin qui est aussi belle (ou plus belle), on aime autant ça. Genre Praiano au lieu de Positano.
Quelques autres affaires:
• Pas de char loué, on veut tout faire en train
• Minimum 2 nuits par place, on veut pas faire nos valises à chaque matin
Y’a quelqu’un qui a déjà fait un trip similaire? Quelle côte vous choisiriez pis dans quelles villes vous vous installeriez? On est ouverts à d’autres suggestions aussi si on manque quelque chose.

Hey everyone, first time posting here. My girlfriend and I (24M, 26F) are heading to Italy from August 23 to September 2 and we’re stuck on the second half of the trip.
What we already know we’re doing:
• Aug 23-24: Florence, sleeping there both nights
• Aug 24 during the day: vineyard tour somewhere in Tuscany
• Aug 25 to Sept 1: beach / coast mode, this is the part we can’t figure out
• Sept 1: back to Rome, flight home Sept 2
Basically we have a full week to spend by the sea and we’re going back and forth between two options:
1. Ligurian coast, thinking Camogli and Portofino mostly. We were also considering Cinque Terre but everything I read says it’s a zoo in late August, so we honestly don’t mind skipping it if people think there’s better nearby. Is it still worth squeezing in or should we let it go?
2. Amalfi coast. Looks stunning obviously but I’m a bit nervous about the distance from Florence and getting back to Rome for our flight.
One thing about us: we love beautiful places but we don’t need the super touristy hotspots to be happy. If there’s a smaller, quieter town nearby that’s just as pretty (or prettier), we’d honestly prefer that. Praiano over Positano type of thing.
A few other things:
• No rental car, we’d rather do it all by train
• Minimum 2 nights per place, we don’t want to be packing every morning
Has anyone done a similar route? Which coast would you pick and what towns would you actually base yourselves in? Also open to stuff we might be missing entirely.
