so i got an impreza currently, super fun with the 5 speed and it’s been hella reliable. good for the winter and rain because of awd and cheap ass parts. great financial investment.

i want a poor financial investment.

after i graduate highschool i want to buy another car i also want to sell my impreza for a more fun daily but still reliable and good on gas. been looking at the 2015 SI.

anyway here’s what i want the other car to be

RWD, manual, easy to work on, not insanely expensive and same with parts (basically no german), faster than my impreza by any margin, decent aftermarket support, maybe a little unique, loghtweight and good handling, not a miata. reliability isn’t the biggest issue because it’ll be a fun car not a daily.

here’s a little list of cars i’ve bee looking at. RX8, 370z, C5 vette, MR2 SW20 and AW11, SN95 mustang (doesn’t handle as good as the rest but it’ll make grandpa smile), nissan 300ZX (also doesn’t handle as good but they’re just beautiful especially the z31).

get the gist? i got a while before i graduate so go crazy with this say some stupid shit too.

okay basically my girlfriends PC has started just rejecting the controllers she plugs into it. her keyboard and mouse still work. at first it created a power surge warning. we managed to get the warning off by going to the generic USB in device and disabling its ability to shut disable the device to save power.

now everytime it disconnects itself it says USB device not recognized.

everywhere the controller was plugged into would give the warning and not recognized.

other USB devices like her keyboard and mouse worked fine.

we did manage to get the controller to connect for like 5 minutes but it gave the not recognized again and didn’t work.

controller says not recognized on 3.0 2.0 and on the back USB ports on the motherboard.

recently when she would plug into the controller it would also disconnect her mic and say power surge warning. only happened a few times.

so uh wtf is happening?

we tried disconnecting all power and holding the power button while unplugged, we tried reinstalling the USB drivers through device manager, we tried swapping cables (both gave warning and not recognized, other controllers do the same as well), tried looking at checked disk management and all disks were good.

can someone please help us. thank you
