First sale! But really concerned

Hi. Im very new to Facebook/meta ads only starting 4 days ago. Im seeing constant posts on this subreddit regarding Facebook being down - very reassuring I’ll tell you 😅, but I’m experience a few things that I think I need some advice on if anyone care to give me some input.

Currently Ive made my first ever sale 🎉.

However, im slightly worried that Facebook is is completely ignoring my conditions i set when creating the campaign.

Firstly, I have 2 ad sets and 5 ads total (all 5 ads are different products).
Within each ad set it seems to have just picked 1 ad and put all the money into both of those - basically not even attempting to give reach to the others, I have no clue whether these other ads (which are promoting different products) would have performed well or not because it seems their algorithm has neglected them.

Now that I’ve gotten my first sale, I don’t know whether me messing with the settings is a good thing or not?

It’s the same with the audience - although I got some recommendation to turn off advantage plus - as meta seemed to be targeting people completely outside my range i set.

The number of impression Im also getting, im not sure im their skimping me out or not. so far spent £20 for 1200 impression.

TLDR;

  1. Spent 20 for 1200 impressions, is this under Whats considered good?
  2. Their algorithm seems to be focusing on 1 ad within an ad set and completely neglecting the others, how can I make sure it tests all of the ads before focusing ?
  3. How can I make it use my recommended audience?
  4. Will updating my live campaign negatively affect?

I don’t know if they’re silly questions but I would love an answer from someone who’s experienced this and can help out a bit.

Much appreciated

New to facebooks why is audience wrong?

Hi, Im relatively new to meta ads, I created my ad account two days ago.

I’ve got my first campaign for my store up and running, I couldn’t help but notice that meta is showing my ad out to an audience other than what I selected.

I put down 18-40 age range but for the past day it’s been showing in analytics that it’s sending traffic to 40-45, 65+ and showing it to my selected minimal in very limited numbers.

Is there a reason for this?

Also Ive ran my campaign for around a day now, but for some reason the ads that have clicks to choosing not to show to anyone, whereas it’s preferring to show an ad that barely getting any with a lot more impressions / reach? Why does it choose to do this?
