Worried that my story isn't diverse enough?

Hello! I love writing more casual things. I've been building this world for a few years now which follows a couple of 20 somethings after college/didn't attend college/etc.

It's not set in a specific city, more so City, America if that makes sense.

However, I realized that most of my cast is asian. I think as it stands it's 4 east asians, 3 SEA, 1 mixed British/Kenyan, 1 Persian.

I also noticed that within the characters, the ships are always "tanner skin x lighter skin" so to speak, like there are two primary ships where one character is east asian while the other is SEA and tanner as a result. I obviously didn't do this on purpose but I'm worried if it shows up too much? Does anyone notice this in other writing?

For context, I am asian and i'm mainly an artist, so when i draw my characters i notice they all end up looking asian as well, which is why the cast is primarily asian. I'm just worried if it feels weird that the cast skews so one way?

I don't know, let me know your thoughts! Please be nice, this might be a stupid question but I'd just like to know common consensus is all.

Love how young Ema looks like Maya!

Spoilers tagged for 1-6 just in case.

I love how Ema has the high bun thing. It's obvious they wanted to go with a Maya/Ema parallel with their designs and their personalities. Maya is the more ditsy one with dumb comments sometimes (ladders). She solves problems more with spirituality (her constant channeling ) Ema is the more scientific one who's more naïve than dumb. She's still a kid after all. I really hope in AA7, or whatever future media there is, >! they bring back Lana. I also love the parallels with Lana and Mia. They're both two older sisters who love their sisters to death, and will do anything for them. !<

That's my post. Love Ema, love Maya. Love Lana. Love Mia.

Lin was lowkey the most robbed character in the whole series.💔

Didn't really know how to title this post but while I initially didn't care for Lin, I became a huge fan after S1 of TLOK and I feel so bad for her as a character. I feel like Lin took so many Ls throughout TLOK and I really wish they gave her anything.

Even though I adore Toph, she's an awful parent. She took the complete opposite route when raising her kids, and it really showed with Su. Su and Lin never really got along too well, and Su tells Korra and the audience that it's because she had a rebellious era, only for us to learn that Lin had to parent Su because Toph was an absentee parent. Su says that Lin is married to the job but that's really all that's going for her. Su grows up to marry a rich architect and live in comfort, while Lin's ex boyfriend leaves her to marry a girl 15~ years younger. She then sacrifices her bending and honestly is prepared to die for the same guy. Even though they're exes and I understand it's hella awkward sometimes I fell so bad for Lin since Tenzin is honestly pretty dismissive of her to the point where it's hard to believe they were childhood friends. She has her faults, but so does every other character. If anything all the TLOK characters are heavily flawed people.

IDK, does anyone else feel bad for Lin or is it just me? I feel like her being hard boiled and a little mean compared to Su is meant to make the audience dislike her, but I feel like she's taken so many Ls in her life I wish she could've taken even a single W.

I finished the main trilogy a long time ago. I watched a play through of trials and tribulations for fun, and I just re-"finished" the game today. God, it was a lot more fun than I remember!!

My problem now is, should I even play the second trilogy? I'm surprisingly pretty spoiler free regarding the game, but I'm honestly not too fond of apollo as apposed to phoenix. I like klavier, but I'm honestly more fond of the previous prosecutors and I'm not sure if sinking 30+ hours in the trilogy is worth it to me. But I'm also the completionist type. I bought the AA chronicles on steam recently and I'm honestly more excited about that than Apollo Justice.

But yeah, I wanted to just ask if people have strong feelings on Apollo Justice either way. All I know about it is that Phoenix becomes a hobo, but I also know that Maya leaves and she's one of my favs. Thanks!
