Help me maximize this narrow loft living space after buying an 86” sofa (photos)

I could really use some fresh ideas.
I recently moved into this loft and made the mistake of buying an 86” cream sofa that I can’t return, so I have to design around it. After trying several layouts, I think against the windows is the only placement that really works, but I’m open to being proven wrong.
Now I’m trying to figure out the best use of the remaining narrow space so it works for both everyday living and entertaining.
A few details:
One bedroom downstairs, one upstairs, plus an open loft area upstairs and a large private terrace, so not everything has to happen in the main living area.
I work from home and want the space to function well day to day.
I love hosting friends and would like to incorporate a proper dining area if possible.
I don’t currently own a dining table or TV, so I’m open to layout ideas and furniture suggestions.
The kitchen island is 48” high, so it’s not practical for everyday dining.
If this were your loft, how would you lay it out? I’m open to any ideas—layout, furniture, TV placement, dining setup, or anything else you think would make the space more functional. I think I’ve stared at this space for too long and need some fresh eyes.

Thank you!
