I currently have two young Cayugas, one drake one hen, and am getting three Welsh Harlequins hen ducklings...
But, the Muscovy ducks seems like cool little characters! I know there is some difference between them and Mallard breeds, but could I have one hen with my other ducks?
This may be an unbelievably silly question, and from a quick google search the answer seems to be no BUT…
There are reptiles that give live birth such as blue tongued skinks, boas, rattlesnakes.
Could some species of dinosaurs have also given live birth? Is it proven that they all laid eggs?
Then again, birds do not give live birth sooooo maybe not?

I was one quest away from growing my Dasp into an adult before I got obliterated by an Alpha creature while I was resting and then a watching Alio finished me off. I got my feelings hurt lmao.
I want to give it another try but a few things I’m wondering…
How long did you play before you got taking out?
Have you run into any mix/mega-packing? If so, how often?
I've grown several dinosaurs, but this is the first time I've actually put time into getting an albino/melanistic skin... I went for the mel!

I started playing PoT earlier this year, spent a month or so on officials (Gondwa), got tired of mega/mix-packing as many do, and have been spending my time in semi-realistic community servers or pvp/deathmatch servers in search for more fair and enjoyable interactions.
A few days ago I wanted to see if I would enjoy officials again and... I am!
Maybe it's because I switched maps and am playing on Riparia now, or maybe its the way people react to my selected species (went from a Dasp main to a Lamborghini main), but its been fun.
Not only do I come across other players way more often than on community servers, but the interactions have been mostly positive and if we do fight, those interactions have mostly been fair. Of course its still officials and there are some turds players, but compared to my experience before it seems much better.
All that said, my actual gameplay time on officials after coming back might be 20hrs, so maybe I'm just getting lucky with my interactions. But I do hope it continues to be this way.
Anyway, there is a lot of complaining about officials and I wanted to add something positive. <3

I've been a Dasp main (when I'm not screwing around on Campto) but have recently been playing more Allo. Although it's kit is super basic, I'm pleasantly surprised.
What I like about Dasp is their size vs speed and stam. Direct 1v1, I can successfully fight most others my size and if it's larger and something I can't take, I can simply run away. I actually struggle with small dinos (esp multiple raptors or Pachy) the most...skill issue I'm sure.
I feel like Allo is similar in this although I'm a bit disappointed in it's turning radius! As a species I would think Allo would be a bit more nimble than Dasp. I hope that improves with the next TLC.
What I'm worried about though, is that they'll change the Allo TOO much with the TLC. It definitely needs it, but I hope it doesn't completely change the feel... if that makes sense.
This is Hex, my Allo. I've gotten a bit attached to her. I'm trying to get better at editing photos from the game, hopefully this isn't to terrible!
I can't remember if I saw it somewhere but... does anyone know if migration quests could be a thing in the future? It came to mind with the flight path (which I hope improves because its waaaay too long with little payout).
For example, players have to reach particular points/coordinates, not just the general POI.
Each point reached gives you a little growth/reward, completing the whole path gives you more growth/reward? Make it random for each player/group to cause more movement around the map (and maybe less concentration to hotspots)?
Just some ideas and thoughts!

Idk, messing around on HellsRealm Deathmatch and found a church.
Solo Yutyrannus has been an uphill battle, but it's my favorite dino so I refuse to not give it some play time. I grew one on Gondwa and am growing this one on Riparia... which is full of lakes, rivers, and wetlands and well, yuty's aren't great with water. At all.
I had JUST got taken down from sub-adult to adolescent after two crocs snagged me crossing water. Respawned in Mudflats and soon after a Sucho (adolescent or sub adult?) made a bee line straight for my poor little fluff. I screamed and ran because it seemed HUGE... but surrounded by water there was no getting away so I had to turn to fight. Somehow managed the kill.
Of course, had this been an adult I'm sure the outcome would have been me for dinner but... it's the small wins!
