If you could redesign a menstrual pad from scratch, what would you change?

Hi everyone,

I'm researching menstrual products because I'm interested in product design and understanding women's real experiences. Most of what I see from companies focuses on advertising features, but I'd love to hear directly from people who actually use pads.

If you could redesign a menstrual pad from the ground up:

  • What is your biggest frustration with pads?
  • What problem do pads still not solve well?
  • What's one feature you wish existed?
  • Have you ever stopped using pads because of a bad experience? If so, what happened?

Whether your issue is leaking, feeling wet, bunching, irritation, overnight protection, comfort, wings, or anything else, I'd really appreciate hearing about it.

I'm simply trying to learn from real experiences and understand where current products fall short. Thank you to anyone willing to share.
