Got into a no fault “expedited total loss”

Totaled my car on Aug 8. Cops immediately labeled the other driver as “at fault”. I don’t have a car now. I didn’t do anything wrong. Haven’t heard from State Farm since Tuesday when they were very worried about getting my car out of the tow yard into a salvage yard so they wouldn’t have to pay any storage fees. Should I expect more information in this amount of time?

Would brushing in sand help with weeds

When I finish pressure washing and weeding this pad would buying a couple bags of sand and brushing them in prevent future weeds? Is there a better option?
